He has served as Assistant and Associate Professor at SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar, and later as Associate Professor and Head of the Department at BPS Government Medical College for Women, Sonipat.

Dr. Singh is a faculty member with IRIA and ICRI and has been invited to deliver guest lectures at various international (6) and national (21) conferences over the past 15 years. He has 28 research publications to his credit, published in reputed, indexed journals. He also served as the State Scientific Coordinator for the IRIA Haryana Chapter during 2018–19 and 2019–20.

His areas of special interest include musculoskeletal and cross-sectional radiology. He is an active member of several professional bodies including IRIA (Indian Radiological and Imaging Association), ICRI (Indian College of Radiology and Imaging), MSS (Musculoskeletal Society, India), AMS (Asian Musculoskeletal Radiology Society), and MUSoc (Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society). He is also a member of the National Editorial Advisory Board of the journal Current Trends in Diagnosis and Treatment, published by Jaypee Publications.
